Havana, Jul 13 (Prensa Latina) Cuba will continue defending fair causes, but the struggle against the US economic, financial and trade blockade of the island is a priority, said today the president of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Kenia Serrano.
The struggle against that policy, which has been in force for more than half a century, has become a priority, Serrano highlighted when presenting a report issued by the ICAP on the movement of solidarity with Cuba at the Commission of International Relations of the National Assembly of People’s Power, at Havana’s Conference Center.
Serrano said that it was necessary for this stage, to do a more efficient work through international solidarity, which besides fighting the blockade, could help us spreading the truth about Cuba, especially the achievements regarding human rights.
