Brussels, June 9 (Prensa Latina) Senior officials of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU) states approved here today to include in the final declaration of the bi-regional summit a paragraph to demand an end to the US blockade against Cuba.

The agreement, which will now be submitted to the foreign ministers of CELAC-EU denounces the economic damage to the Cuban people by that economic siege, held for over half a century, as told to Prensa Latina by diplomatic sources close to the meeting.
During this day continue negotiations on various issues of the bi-regional agenda, including disarmament, the vulture funds and environment.
